COVERAGE
With the 300 watts transmitter, the radio station reaches listeners starting from the border of Western Highlands to Wapenamanda, Wabag town and parts of Kompiam Ambum but yet to cover the other 2 districts.
We aim to cover ALL of Enga by the end of 2022 and all of PNG in 2023.
The current setup of Jesus FM transmission system broadcast its signal in a straight line of sight from the transmitting point. Where there are mountains, this signal is blocked and sometimes the transmission does not travel very far with our 22 meters current set up. We need a 30 TO 50 meters high tower for full coverage to be heard in the province.
A 30-50 metre tower construction will cost around K150,000.
